Thomas A. Oreck

Tom was President and CEO of Oreck Corporation from 1999 to 2008 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board. Oreck Corporation is a leading manufacturer of vacuum cleaners and other home appliances that are made in America and sold worldwide. He currently serves on the boards of Cutco Corporation, Isidore Newman School, University School of Nashville, Nashville Children's Theatre and the Nashville Chamber of Commerce. Tom received the George B. Walter Service to Society Award for his humanitarian efforts in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. Tom is the 2007 recipient of the Lawrence Alumni Association Service to Society Award, the UGS Innovation Leadership Award and the ACG Abrams Leadership Award.
