Linwood A. Lacy, Jr.

Chip's expertise is mentorship of management teams in the development and execution of high-growth operating plans in technology-driven businesses. From 1985 to May 1996, he served as the Co-Chairman and CEO of Ingram Micro, Inc. (NYSE: IM). During the time of his leadership, the company grew from approximately $120 million to over $12 billion in annual revenue. From 1993 to April 1996, he also served initially as President and then CEO of Ingram Industries, Inc. During 1996 and 1997, Chip served as President and CEO of Micro Warehouse Incorporated, a publicly traded micro computer direct-marketing company. From July 1998 to July 2001, he served as Chairman of 4Sure.com, Inc. an Internet-based direct marketer of computer and technology products of which he was one of the founders, which grew to approximately $450 million in annualized revenues at the time of its sale to Office Depot, Inc. (NYSE: ODP).

Chip has served on 13 Boards of Directors. Past Council Capital portfolio company board roles include non-executive Chairman of EVault and director of Marketworks. Currently Chip serves as a director of Council Capital portfolio company NuScriptRX. Chip is also a director of NETGEAR, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTGR) (lead Director), GTSI, Inc., (NASDAQ:GTSI), Streamlite, Inc. (Chairman), Ingram Industries and Confidex OY.

He received his BSChE and MBA from the University of Virginia.
